Faith Hall, a Huntsville native, received her Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Alabama in December 2014. The following school year she began her teaching career as a 4th-5th grade Interventionist at Southview Elementary School in Tuscaloosa. In this role, she focused on small group math intervention. Before moving back to Huntsville, Faith went on to teach Kindergarten and 2nd grade. During her first few years of being an educator, Faith discovered just how impactful it was to foster positive relationships with her students. Building and fostering positive relationships quickly became the foundation of her teaching philosophy.
Since her time in Tuscaloosa, Faith Hall took a year off to stay home with her two young children. While she loved every minute of being a stay-at-home mom, she felt a tug on her heart to return to the classroom. In 2019, Faith accepted a 2nd-grade position at Arab Primary School where she spent the next three years of her teaching career. During her time with Arab City Schools, Faith gained knowledge and experience in curriculum development, extensive training in The Science of Reading, as well as Dyslexia in young children. She spent the last two years in Arab focused on teaching ELA. This allowed her to deepen her content knowledge in teaching Reading.
Faith is eager to start full-time with The Learning Team. She currently has plans to continue her own education and training by becoming Orton Gillingham certified.
