A graduate of the University of North Alabama, Sara Moore has earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education. She is a certified teacher in Alabama for English Language Arts.
Sara Moore has 18 years of experience teaching reading and ELA in grades 6 through 12 in the public school system. She has taught reading and English for grades 6 through 12. She also had the opportunity to teach science to 7th- and 8th-grade students (which she loved!). She has also presented about inspiring young readers at three regional and national teaching conferences.
Sara Moore now teaches ELA for Grove Academy and is also an academic coach at The Learning Team.
When not involved in education, she stays busy with her two daughters, many pets, and various activities. Be sure to look for her while on your next hike, as she enjoys exploring the outdoors! Sara also enjoys reading, writing, painting, acting, and crocheting.
