A Huntsville native, Tabitha Heck graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. At UAH, she earned a degree in sociology and a minor in communication arts. Once she graduated, she worked as a clerical assistant and receptionist before deciding to be a stay-at-home mother for her three children.
As she homeschooled her kids through their first years of elementary school, she discovered an interest in education. She merged this interest with her professional experience when she joined The Learning Team as a receptionist and administrative assistant. In her role, Tabitha assists The Learning Team and Grove Academy primarily in communication and organization. If you work with us, you will likely interact with her on more than one occasion!
Outside of her work with The Learning Team, Tabitha Heck is passionate about mission work and counseling. Over the years, this passion has taken her around the world. Her mission trips have taken her to countries like South America and India, helping countless people along the way. Tabitha didn’t stop with international work. Her passion for helping others also made her a frequent volunteer for local organizations. Two that she commonly worked with were Mary Magdalene Ministries and the Huntsville Pregnancy Resource Center.
