A focused weekend intensive for students ready to approach the ACT with strategy.
It's built for students who haven't tested yet and want a strong first run — or who've tested and want a sharper edge. The focus is pacing, timing, and real test strategy, plus the grammar and math fundamentals that move scores fastest.
Led by a certified Grove coach using the Grove method, this intensive is intentionally small so every student gets real attention over both days.
Program Details
- ✓When: One weekend — Saturday & Sunday. Three dates offered: Nov 14–15, 2026 · Jan 23–24, 2027 · Mar 27–28, 20277
- ✓Where: Suite 302 — 2204 Whitesburg Drive SW, Huntsville, AL 35801. This is the office down the hall from our main suite; look for Suite 302.
- ✓Led by: A certified Grove coach, using the Grove method
- ✓Focus areas: Pacing, timing, test strategy, grammar, and math fundamentals
- ✓Size: Small by design — 6 students per weekend, 4-student minimum to run
- ✓Structure: Saturday builds into Sunday — attendance both days is required
- ✓Test Format: This intensive trains for the paper ACT. We recommend paper testing and do not cover Desmos here.

The Right Fit
- Students who have completed Algebra 1 and Geometry and are enrolled in Algebra 2 or higher.
- Students testing above a 20 in all sections
Required Supplies
- A TI-84 Evo or TI-84 Plus CE calculator is required for the math section — we do not cover Desmos in this workshop.

Reservation & Payment Policy
A $200 nonrefundable deposit reserves your student's seat for their selected weekend. The remaining balance is due two weeks before that weekend (see dates above). Seats are limited to 6 per weekend and confirmed in the order deposits are received.
Your reservation covers both days of the program (Saturday and Sunday). Because the program is sequential, missed sessions cannot be made up or refunded.
Deposits are refundable only if Grove cancels a weekend for insufficient enrollment (we run with a minimum of four students). In that case, you will receive a full refund.
