Katalina-Marie Kruszewski has an innate desire to learn and help others learn. This desire has taken on many forms in different locations. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Criminal Justice while working with children as a nanny. Shortly after graduation, a move to Georgia allowed her to develop this passion further. During her study in Chemistry at Kennesaw State University, she became a teacher’s assistant and peer leader in the field.
After meeting her husband, she moved to Maryland. There, she worked as a Respite Care Provider for children with Autism as a Nationally-Certified Emergency Medical Technician.
She and her husband then moved to Japan. There, she culminated her years of experience in helping educate others by teaching English to Japanese nationals. During this time, she was a mentor, created, maintained, and expanded curriculums, trained fellow teachers, and taught students whose ages ranged from kindergarten through adulthood.
Katalina-Marie Kruszewski recently moved to Alabama and connected with The Learning Team to continue working in a field she is passionate about. She also assists with the promotion of our micro-school, Grove Academy. When not helping others, Katalina-Marie enjoys hiking, spending time with her dogs, and relaxing through reading or crafting.
