Kristy Mathew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in reading and language arts from the University of Iowa. She taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade before staying home to raise her four children. Kristy is able to once again pursue her passion for teaching and helping children succeed in academics now that her own children are grown. She approaches teaching with skill and compassion. Embracing her innate pleasure for learning and doing new things, she creatively and successfully guides her students through challenging tasks – both academic and personal.
