Justine has always been passionate about helping others, and she has found joy doing that through tutoring students. She received her B.S. degree in statistics from San Diego State University, during which she worked as a tutor for student athletes on campus and volunteered tutoring high school students in various math and statistics courses. Outside of tutoring, she also enjoyed mentoring new college students at SDSU and serving in a research lab for statistical methods applied to social sciences.
After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC, to work as a data scientist in the government sector. She became passionate about data science as it blended her love for statistics with computer programming. After a few years in DC, Justine is excited to be in the Huntsville area and a part of the Go Learning Team. Outside of tutoring, Justine loves reading and anything arts related, whether that’s drawing/painting, playing piano, or dancing.
